My Grandparents

My grandparents have been the members in our family to look up to.  They set the bar on how to treat people and yourself as I grew up.  My grandparents were both from immigrant families and worked hard for their family to succeed in the Unites States.  They often talked about dedication and persisting what you want.  "Nothing is for free" my grandfather would say all the time.  They had the same focus with their marriage.

My grandparents were devoted to each other in every capacity.  They each had their own role they took on in the household and respected each other for that.  My grandmother stayed home and raised the children.  My grandfather worked and owned his own businesses.  They came together as a united team and as companions when the situation called.  As they got older, their dynamics changed and their marriage evolved with them.  My grandfather began to take care of my grandmother as they aged.  It was beautiful to watch the amount of compassion they had for each other as time went on.  My grandparents are my role models for my work ethic and dedication to my union with my husband.
